Get the best deal! - With the SMH10D-11 you can call hands-free on your Bluetooth mobile phone, listen to stereo music or voice instructions of GPS navigation by Bluetooth wirelessly, and have intercom conversations in full duplex with a passenger or other motorcycle riders.
The Sena SMH10D-11 is one of the most reliable, comfortable and easy to use Bluetooth motorcycle headsets available. In terms of cost-benefit, the Sena SMH10D-11 is definitely a great choice. It’s not as expensive as the Cardo Scala models, but offers you excellent functionality. You can find cheaper devices, but believe me, the quality you’ll get and the overall experience will be poor as well. I highly recommend you invest in a reliable device. You won’t regret it. Your rides will be more enjoyable, especially when you can talk not just with another rider, but up to 4.
By the way, this bundle guarantees you the best value. It includes two full sets of SMH10D-11 headsets. Buying them separately will cost you more. So, if you’re planning to use it with a partner, you better order this bundle instead of paying extra for the exact same individual products.
Easy Installation of the Sena SMH10D-11.
The Sena SMH10D-11 comes nicely packed with everything you need to install it. Mounting it is really easy and you shouldn’t have any issue by following the instructions provided. The included standard clamp will fit most helmets, but if for reason you needed extra wire, ear buds instead of speakers, and wire microphone instead of the included boom microphone, those accessories are available for sale as separate items.
Connect Your Devices to the Sena SMH10D-11.
You can connect other Bluetooth devices supporting HSP/HFP (Headset Profile/Hands Free Profile) and A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). Most GPS, Android phones and iPhones are supported. You only need to pair the devices and you will be ready to enjoy your music, make and receive calls, and get GPS instructions through the Sena SMH10D-11. And by the way, the quality of the sound is really good. You won’t get Bose quality, but is decent, loud and clear. Much better than other less expensive devices.
Easy to Operate.
Ok, maybe other devices offer the above Bluetooth connectivity features as well. That’s true. But what sets the Sena SMH10D-11 apart from the others is how easy and intuitive is to operate. You have 2 buttons: a dial button and a tap button. You use the dial button as you do it in an iPod: spin it one way to increase the volume, spin it the other way to lower the volume. If you want to chat over intercom to other riders, you tap the button; you tap it again and you’re back to your music. With the dial button you can answer the calls and if your phone has voice command capabilities, you can control that through the Sena SMH10D-11 as well. That’s is pretty cool! So, for example, you just have to say: “Call Jack”, and you’ll get the response back “Calling Jack”, and so on. People on the side won’t even notice you’re riding!
Conclusion on the Sena SMH10D-11.
The Sena SMH10D-11 is one of our favorite Bluetooth headsets and many other satisfied users share this opinion. It’s very easy to operate, the build quality is very good, the simple and intuitive controls are great, the battery life is quite decent (12 hours talk time, 10 days in stand by), the range to communicate with other devices goes up to 900 meters which is really good when you’re traveling in group. Connectivity to other Bluetooth devices, such as GPS, iPhone or MP3 players is a breeze and works great. And finally the price compared to other devices, such as the Cardo Scala Rider G9 Powerset, for example, is very competitive; it costs less and the user experience you get is excellent. All in all, the Sena SMH10D-11 is a great buy for those looking for a reliable Bluetooth motorcycle communication device.
